Privacy Policy
Our calculators run entirely in your browser. We never receive, store or share your date of birth, weight or any other answer you type in. This page explains what the rest of the site does collect, for analytics and advertising, and the choices you have.
What the calculator does with your answers
Nothing leaves your device. All calculations run in JavaScript on the page. Your answers are not sent to our server, not saved in cookies and not included in analytics events. If you share a result, the link you share opens the calculator and contains none of your answers. When you close or reload the page, your answers are gone.
If you install the death clock app, your phone stores copies of our pages and scripts so the calculator works offline. It does not store your answers.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages are useful and find problems. It records things like the pages you visit, your approximate location (country or city level), device type and how you arrived. We also count clicks on “calculate” and “share” buttons, without any of your answers. Where the law requires it, analytics only runs after you agree through our cookie banner.
Advertising
The site is funded by display ads, served by Google AdSense and possibly other ad networks in future. Ad networks may use cookies or similar technology to show ads and measure them, and, if you agree, to personalise them. Ad networks cannot see what you type into the calculator. You can manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
Cookies and consent
Before any advertising or analytics cookies are set for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for consent through a cookie banner using Google Consent Mode. You can change your choice at any time through the “Privacy choices” link at the bottom of the page. The site also stores your light or dark mode choice in your browser.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe and the UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to processing and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data. Because we don’t collect calculator answers, we hold no health data about you. For analytics and ads data, use the choices above or contact us.
Children
The site is for a general audience. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children.
